Simple Life announces wellbeing partnerships for tenants and employees

Leading build-to-rent (BTR) provider, Sigma Capital Group, has announced two new partnerships aimed at improving the physical and mental wellbeing of both Simple Life tenants and employees, as it continues to set the standard for the BTR industry.

Simple Life, Sigma’s BTR landlord brand, announced 100 FIIT memberships available for residents, to support them with making time for personal health and fitness.

Digital fitness is here to stay, with 32% of UK adults now enjoying at least one online fitness membership. FIIT he UK’s no.1 rated interactive fitness platform, provides Simple Life residents with access to over 2000+ workouts led by world-class trainers. With an unparalleled variety of classes to suit every goal-from strength and yoga to HIIT, tread, pilates and bike FIIT offers something for every fitness level.

Simple Life residents snapped up the memberships, with all memberships accounted for in the first two days. Upon application, residents cited reasons such as postpartum recovery, balancing life as a doctor and mother, working from home and bereavement.

Alongside the FIIT membership for residents, Sigma has launched a partnership with MYNDUP, for both employees and residents. MYNDUP offers proactive wellbeing support, from counselling to coaching, alongside a library of wellbeing resources. Simple Life residents will get just under 50% off their sessions for the remainder of this year, and 20% off from 2025 onwards, as well as being able to access resources in the Simple Life app under the ‘Lifestyle’ section.

Sigma’s has invested in 121 sessions with MYNDUP for employees, and 20% off for their friends and family. Staff will also have unlimited access to the wellbeing library and webinars.

Niamh Waldron, ESG Director at Sigma Capital said:

“We know that time is precious, and it’s crucial that we look after our physical and mental wellbeing as much as possible. We’re proud to launch these two partnerships, to demonstrate our commitment to raising standards in the build-to-rent industry through prioritising health for both our renters, and our employees.”

Ian McCaig, CEO at FIIT said:

“As our lives become busier and more sedentary, we at FIIT understand how important—and challenging—it can be to incorporate movement into our daily routines. That’s why we’re excited to partner with Sigma to provide our app to their Simple Life residents. The enthusiasm with which they’ve embraced our platform is truly encouraging. We look forward to supporting Sigma in helping their residents to reach their fitness goals and beyond.”

Joel Gujral, CEO at MYNDUP added:

“With so much going on in the world, it’s vital that people are able to access the ability to talk with someone in an anonymous manner.

“We started our journey after noticing most employee assistance plans offer a one-size-fits-all solution that can feel quite slow. We are proud to support Simple Life residents and Sigma employees with a simple and fast way to get mental health support in a tailored way that suits each individual.”
